Cindy expressed an interest in visiting the Andrew County Museum and the Herman Museum was also mentioned among several others.

Jack Hackley spoke to the members of a new money-making proposal, which would also be a great way of displaying the family histories in writing and with pictures of our residents. They would be displayed in a swinging panel - visual display located in the Historical Society building and also on a computer disk. He gave each member a sample postcard that would be sent out to the 6,000 people in the Oak Grove area. Jack had a sample display case made up for his family (about 3' x 4').
